Orchid Exhibition 2023 - Orchids and Ferns

This is a popular orchid show every year. This year's theme is orchids and ferns, and there will be plenty of other events as well!
◆Contents
Orchids and ferns
 Orchids and ferns grow wild all over the world and have adapted to various environments. Visitors will be able to see a wide variety of orchids and ferns.
2) Photographs of the Guiana Highlands
 The plants and creatures of the Guiana Highlands are introduced through photographs.
Orchids grown by orchid lovers
 Orchids grown by the members of the Orchid Friendship Society of Kamiyoshiro will be on display.
4) Orchid sales corner
 Dendrobiums, mini orchids, celosines, and other gorgeous orchids suitable for the New Year will be on sale.
5) Photo Spot
 You can take photos with the Guiana Highlands in the background.

◆Events during the period
1) Making crunchy dinosaurs
Let's make a dinosaur toy using paper cups and fallen leaves in the greenhouse.
When: Saturday, January 7, 14:00-16:00
Capacity: Ends when materials run out *Preschoolers must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Cost: Admission fee
Place: Underground Hall
(2) Chocotte Guide
Explanation about orchids in the exhibition rooms.
When: January 11 (Wed.) - 13 (Fri.), 11:00 - 11:15 each day
Capacity = 10 people each day (first-come-first-served basis) *Please come directly to the venue on the day.
Cost = Entrance fee
Making a miniature orchid arrangement
You can make a mini arrangement using orchids and ornamental plants and take it home.
When: January 6 (Fri.) 2:00 p.m., 2:30 p.m. - one session each
Capacity: 15 people per session (first-come-first-served basis) *Preschool children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
   Numbered tickets will be distributed from 1:45 p.m. on the day.
Cost: Admission fee
Place: Underground Hall

Quiz rally, stamp rally (fortune chocolates will be given away), Coming-of-Age Day photo spot, etc.
