Prizes
(1) 10,000 yen gift certificate for the entire ward (one winner per month)
Notes
One person may submit up to two photos for each month's theme. However, if multiple photos are submitted at one time, only the first one will be considered.
Only single photos (no composite photos or videos) will be accepted. No photo can be modified.
This project is supported by a grant from the Tokyo Convention & Visitors Bureau.
All participants in the Instagram photo contest "Burari, Itabashi" (hereinafter referred to as "the Contest") (hereinafter referred to as "Participants") are deemed to have agreed to the terms and conditions of this contest. The Itabashi Tourist Association, the organizer of the Contest, shall have the right to make the final decision on any matter not described in the Terms of Application.
1. What is the "Burari, Itabashi" Instagram photo contest?
This is a photo contest that calls for photos taken in Itabashi Ward according to a theme on Instagram. Winning entries will be selected after a strict screening process.
2. Application period
January 2023 - March 2023 (each month)
January: From January 5 to January 31 (Tuesday)
February: Wednesday, February 1 through Tuesday, February 28
For March] From Wednesday, March 1 to Friday, March 31
3. Eligibility
Anyone can participate. However, only those who have their own Instagram account and follow the official Instagram account of the Itabashi Tourist Association are eligible.
4. How to participate
(1) Follow the official Instagram account of the Itabashi Tourism Association (@burari_itabashi).
(2)Take photos in Itabashi Ward that match the theme of this contest, and select the photos to be submitted.

January: "White" Color
February: "Filter" Photography Technique *Smartphone built-in filter functions are also acceptable.
March: "Thoughts on Cherry Blossoms" - A photo in which the entrant has written his/her own thoughts on a cherry blossom image using editing software or an application, etc.
(3) There are no restrictions on photographic equipment, aspect ratio, color or black-and-white, etc., as long as the theme is in line with the submitted entries.

(4) Post the selected photo on Instagram with the following information: (1) #Title, (2) #Date and place of shooting, and (3) #Burari Itabashi.

(5) The Itabashi Tourist Association will select the winners from the submitted entries.
Please note that we will not be able to answer any questions regarding the judging or results.
(6) A direct message will be sent to the winners from the official Instagram account of the Itabashi Tourist Association. After receiving the message, please respond to the message according to the content of the message by the deadline.
If you do not respond to the message by the deadline, your prize will be invalidated.
Prizes will be forfeited if the prize winner's address is unclear or if the prize cannot be delivered due to a change of address due to relocation or other reasons.
(7) After coordination with the winners is completed, the winning entries will be announced on the Itabashi Tourist Association's official Instagram and the Itabashi Tourist Association's official website.
5. Prizes
The following prizes will be sent to the winners. Prizes will be delivered only within Japan.
One 10,000 yen ward common gift certificate for each month's theme
*Please refrain from selling, transferring, or exchanging the prizes for cash.
6. Secondary use of works
(1) Although the copyright of the submitted works belongs to the participants, the Itabashi Tourist Association may use them free of charge only for the purpose of publicity, advertisement, and PR of the ward. In such cases, no separate notification will be made. Please apply only if you agree to the free secondary use of your work.
(2) Those whose submissions win prizes will be asked to send the data posted on Instagram in JPEG/PNG format. Failure to provide this information will invalidate the winning entry.
7. Notes
(1) When taking photos, please pay close attention to safety and etiquette. Please also take precautions against new coronavirus infection, such as avoiding three-density areas and ensuring social distance.
(2)Submissions must be photographs taken in Itabashi Ward by the participants themselves.
(3) Minors must obtain the consent of a parent or guardian before participating.
(4) Entries for this contest must be submitted via Instagram only.
(5)Entries will be deemed invalid if posted from a private account or if the contestant has unfollowed the official Instagram account of the Itabashi Tourist Association by the time the winning entry is announced.
(6) Postings that fall into the following categories are prohibited. If the Itabashi Tourist Association determines that any of the following applies to the entry, the entry will be disqualified from the judging.
Submissions that identify, disclose, or divulge personal information without the consent of the applicant.
Submissions that defame, slander, or injure the reputation or credibility of a third party.
Any content that infringes on the portrait rights, copyrights, or other rights of a third party.
Any information that causes inconvenience, disadvantage, damage, or discomfort to a third party.
・Items that violate or may violate laws, regulations, etc.
Items that are offensive to public order and morals
Those that are intended for the purpose of political or religious activities
Information that discriminates or encourages discrimination on the basis of race, ideology, creed, etc.
Information, advertising, or solicitation for the purpose of profit
Those that impersonate other individuals, companies, organizations, etc.
Photos taken in off-limits or prohibited areas.
Those that violate the terms of use of Instagram.
Any other contents that the Itabashi Tourist Association deems malicious or inappropriate.
8. Disclaimer and others
(1) When taking photos, please do not infringe on the portrait rights, copyrights, or other various rights of third parties. (2) In the event of any claim, complaint, or allegation made by a third party against the submitted work, or any portrait or copyrighted work depicted in the submitted work, Itabashi Tourist Association shall not be liable for any such claim, complaint, or allegation, and the participant shall handle and resolve such claim, complaint, or allegation at his/her own responsibility and at his/her own expense. The participants shall be responsible for handling and resolving such claims, complaints, allegations, etc. at their own responsibility and expense.
(2) Itabashi Tourist Association shall not be liable for any loss or damage incurred by the Participant in connection with his/her participation in this Contest.
(3) Participants shall bear all communication fees necessary for participation in the Contest.
(4)Itabashi Tourist Association reserves the right to change, cancel, or terminate part or all of the Contest without prior notice.
9. Personal Information
Prize winners will be asked to provide personal information (name, address, etc.). Personal information will be properly managed by the Itabashi Tourist Association and will be used only for the purpose of sending prizes to the winners.
