This concert series is brought to you from Anyouin in Itabashi Ward, Tokyo. Concert at the Temple vol.3 - Ten Strings of Music - Iwatoshi Kuroki (double bass) and Kazuya Okamoto (classical guitar) Iwatoshi Kuroki, principal double bass player of the Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra, and Kazuya Okamoto, an up-and-coming guitarist, will present an investigation of ten strings, including Schubert's lyrically beautiful sonata "Arpeggione Sonata," written for the arpeggione, a fantastic instrument invented in the first half of the 19th century. The concert will be accompanied by a story with a rare composition of double bass and guitar. |
