Rare insects and insectivorous plants that live in the tropics will be introduced, and related events will be held.

ContentsLiving organism display corner
 Large beetles such as the Hercules monarch beetle from Central and South America, the Giraffa sawtooth stag beetle from Southeast Asia, the Mandibularis phalarope stag beetle, and the Lacodar stag beetle, as well as the rainbow stag beetle from Oceania will be on display.
Specimen Display Corner
 Specimens of various tropical insects are displayed, including beautiful morpho butterflies, large trivet swallowtails, nana fushies and cone beetles that look just like tree branches and leaves, and giant caddisflies and clams.
Insectivorous Plants Corner
 Insectivorous plants such as Euphorbia, Sarracenia, and Flycatcher are displayed and their ecology is introduced. Some of them will be available for sale.
Some of them will be on sale. The contents of the exhibition may change depending on the condition of the insects and plants.
Please note that admission will be restricted when the museum is crowded.

Participation FeeAdmission: ¥260 for adults, ¥130 for elementary and junior high school students and those over 65 years old, free for preschool children.
Free admission for elementary and junior high school students on Saturdays, Sundays, and from July 22 (national holiday) to August 31 (Tuesday).
