| Contents | "Is it normal for a man to have a family? "Is it normal to work overtime and holidays?" There are many images of masculinity, but unfounded images can lead to irrational stereotypes that make life difficult for men. In this seminar, Mr. Ryo Kawaguchi, a sociologist specializing in gender and sexuality studies, will talk about actual examples of unconscious bias against men, its harmful effects, and the process by which such bias arises. It will be an opportunity for us to rethink our unconscious prejudices. (Women are also welcome to attend.) |
