Flower and Light Movement "Ukima Park x Tulip 2022

In order to create new attractive large-scale flowerbeds in metropolitan parks, we will start the "Flower and Light Movement," in which LED illumination, etc. will be installed to create flowers and lights throughout the four seasons.
As the first "spring" of this initiative, we will light up the rows of cherry trees that are a famous sight in Ukima Park, the windmill that is a popular photo spot, and the tulip flowerbed of approximately 10,000 bulbs that we created with local residents in an integrated manner.
The tulip beds were created through crowdfunding by the "Uukima Garden Cafe Project," a team including the Tokyo Metropolitan Parks Association since 2020, with warm support from the public. Volunteer efforts have resulted in beautiful blooms, and the flowers have been well received as a new attraction in Ukima Park.
