Tropical Environmental Plants Museum (Green Dome Nettaikan)

This is a museum-type botanical garden that recreates the tropical rainforests of Southeast Asia in a greenhouse, cold room, and mini aquarium, allowing visitors to enjoy and learn about a series of tropical environments from the ocean floor to the alpine zone.
The large and charming "Napoleon Fish", the swaying "Chimpanzees", and the giant freshwater stingray "Himantura", which can only be seen here in Japan! There is also the giant freshwater stingray "Chao-chan" of Himantura Chao Phraya, which is a "mini" aquarium with a rich variety. This is a tropical spot where you can fully enjoy the feeling of going out.

A Word from the Facility
Inside the museum, you can see a variety of tropical plants and saltwater, brackish water, and freshwater fish, mainly from Southeast Asia. There is also a guided program where you can observe the fish eating up close. For more information about the guide program, please visit the website.
