The Enoki Enoki, which stands quietly in a corner of the Nakajuku shopping street, continues to attract many worshippers from all over Japan. In the Edo period (1603-1867), this enoki was located in the embracing residence of Hatamoto (feudal lord) Kondo Tonosuke, and later became associated with "enkiri (divorce)," attracting a wide range of worshippers. There is even an anecdote that when the Princess Wamiya married the 14th Shogun, Tokugawa Iemochi, in the first year of the Bunkyu era, she bypassed this place because of bad luck. The common people prayed to the shrine to cut off bad relationships between men and women and to abstain from alcohol. In modern times, it has become an object of worship as a place that "cuts off bad relationships but brings good ones together," and is one of the most famous places in Itabashi-juku.

Ema (votive picture tablet) is sold from a vending machine on the premises (1,000 yen for a set with a netsuke, available from 6:00 to 21:00). The vending machine is open from 6:00 to 21:00).
