Cherry blossom viewing spots for those in the know
Cherry blossom trees along the Shakujii River
It is a famous spot selected as one of the "Itabashi's Ten Views" by those who know it, where the cherry blossoms are the main attraction, not the crowds. More than 1,000 cherry trees line both banks of the river, stretching about 2 km from Naka-Itabashi to the Kaga area, and the view of them blossoming into the Shakujii River as they pour down on the river is enchanting. At night, the rows of cherry trees lit up by lanterns create a fantastic atmosphere, which is a different kind of enjoyment than during the day.
