There are two areas in the park: the rice paddy area, which preserves the good old Japanese rural landscape, and the Japanese garden area, which reminds one of Kyoto.

In the paddy field area, you can see the mechanism of the waterwheel, which is a reproduction of the top-hung waterwheel that was commonly used in the past. Depending on the season, elementary school students from the neighborhood plant and harvest rice in the paddies. In the Japanese garden, visitors can enjoy the scenery of the four seasons. The tea house in the garden, Tokusuitei, has two rooms: a shoin-style hall with a view of the tea garden through a yukimi-shoji screen, and a rustic-style booth with a shikiri-gate, which can be used for tea practice and tea ceremonies. These rooms can be used for tea ceremony practice and tea ceremonies.

A Word from the Facility

At the waterwheel park, you can experience the scenery of the four seasons, such as the old-fashioned scenery of rice paddies and waterwheels, fresh greenery, autumn leaves, plum blossoms, and snow hanging in the elegant Japanese garden, just like in Kyoto. Please stop by when you visit.
