This is a signpost standing on Kiyomizu-zaka, an old Nakasendo road. This was the place where the road from the Nakasendo to the sacred mountains of Mt. The signpost on the left was built in 1792, and the one on the right was built in 1860. They are valuable cultural assets that tell the story of traffic and beliefs in the Edo period.
