The temple is said to have been founded in the Shotoku era (1711-1716) and was rebuilt by Munetake Tayasu in the Kyoho era (1716-1736). The main deity of the temple is Aizen Myoo (Aizen Myoo). The main deity is Aizenmyoo (Aizen Myoo), and the main gate has an elaborate plaque written by Sadanobu Matsudaira.
