The popularity of "Utaura," a fortune telling system based on Japanese poetry
Minami-Tokiwadai Tensojin Shrine
The deity of the shrine is Amaterasu, and the date of its establishment is unknown. In the Edo period (1603-1868), the shrine was called Shinmeisha, and became the guardian of the former Kamiitabashi village. In the 6th year of Meiji (1873), the name of the shrine was changed to Amatsujinja, and it has remained so to this day. The "Utaura" fortune telling system, which uses Japanese poetry, is very popular.
