  • Itabashi Tourist Information is opened in Itago Rice Store!

    We now have more places where we can talk with you.
    Our staff is available not only to customers who dine and shop in the store, but also outside the store.
    We are also available outside of the store to help guide you on sightseeing tours.
    While strolling along the shopping street, you can learn about the history of Itabashi (Nakasendo: Itabashi Yado), nature (cherry blossom trees along the Shakujii River), and experience and sightsee the city.
    We will enjoy experiencing and sightseeing (Itabashi Children's Zoo, Uemura Adventure Center), etc. with you while strolling along the shopping street.
    We look forward to seeing you at our store.

  • Welcoming the 2023 fiscal year

    Itabashi Tourism Volunteers "Motenashitai" is now in its 19th year.
    Although our activities were limited due to the Corona disaster, we started in April with 47 members in good spirits.
    From now on, you will have more opportunities to see us guiding visitors around Itabashi Ward.
    We hope that you will experience and feel the charm of Itabashi.
    We are sincerely looking forward to your application.

  • Kanazawa Hyakumangoku Festival

    Itabashi Tourism Volunteers "Motenashitai" will participate in the "72nd Kanazawa Hyakumangoku Festival" to be held on June 2, 3 and 4, 2023.
    Kanazawa City and Itabashi Ward have a friendship exchange city relationship due to the presence of a villa associated with the Kaga Clan, and this will be the 9th time volunteers will participate in the festival.

  • Shodosawa Cliff Line Nirinso Walking Tour

    In April, nirinso (Japanese silver leaf lilies) bloom here and there in the district.
    This tour will observe the nirinoso from Shimura Ichirizuka to the Shodosawa Cliff Line and admire the flowers in the precincts of Ryufukuji Temple. (The tour will be held on April 13.)

  • Shakujii River Cherry Blossom Viewing Walking Tour

    For the first time in three years, the "Shakujii River Cherry Blossom Viewing Walking Tour" will be held on Wednesday, March 29, 2023.
    The tour will walk along the Shakujii River from the Itabashi bridge to Oji Otonashi Water Park.
    For details, please see the March 11 issue of "Itabashi".
    This is a popular tour, so please register as soon as possible. (We are looking forward to your early registration.)

  • After completing the newcomer training program

    The 18th training course for newcomers to the Itabashi Sightseeing Volunteer Motenashitai was held from June to December 2022, and on the last day, after the "Nakasendo Walk" from Nihonbashi to Itabashi Station, the volunteers were finally ready to start their work as volunteers.
