Travel back in time to the Edo period! Crowdfunding for passing on the precious cultural property of the Kasuya family home to the next generation has begun!

In Itabashi Ward, Tokyo, there is an old private house, the "Former Kasuya Residence," which was built in the middle of the Edo period and has been lived in for about 300 years. The old Kasuya Residence, with its thatched roof that still retains the fragrance of Musashino, was designated as a Tangible Cultural Property by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government in March 2008. In order to pass it on to the next generation as a local treasure, a crowdfunding campaign using the hometown tax system has started.
Itabashi Ward has built a fire prevention system and a management building on the site of the house, and is preparing a system for the protection and management of this cultural asset.
We hope that more and more people will learn about the Kasuya House and cooperate with us as a supporter to protect this cultural asset.
