    Opened in 1979, this is the first municipal art museum in the 23 wards of Tokyo. It was renovated and reopened in 2019. The museum holds a wide range of exhibitions introducing the Edo Kano School, Ikebukuro Montparnasse, and picture books.

    It is a library for foreign picture books, holding 30,000 picture books in 70 languages from about 100 countries around the world, with a focus on picture books donated from Bologna in northern Italy. The library is located in the Ward Central Library.

    This facility exhibits a variety of materials related to the history, culture and nature of Itabashi Ward. On the premises is the former Tanaka Family Residence, an old private house built in the late Edo period that has been relocated.

    It is a botanical garden that utilizes the hilly area of Akatsuka, which retains a strong impression of Musashino. It consists of three areas: the Main Garden, the Manyo and Medicinal Garden, and the Agricultural Garden, so that visitors can enjoy nature and plants close at hand.

    This is a park that recreates a good old-fashioned Japanese rural landscape. There are waterwheels turning in the park, and you can observe rice planting and harvesting in the paddy fields. Next to the park, there is a Japanese garden and a tea house called Tokusuitei.
