    Special Exhibition: "Itabashi" Connecting Edo and Kanazawa - Daimyos who Visited Itabashi-juku on Nakasendo Road

    This exhibition introduces the feudal lords of the Kaga, Takada, and Matsudai clans who traveled between Edo and Kanazawa on their shifts to and from work, and the Itabashi inn that welcomed them. We hope this exhibition will give you an opportunity to see how people lived in those days through the materials on display, and to think about "Itabashi" as a "bridge" between Edo and Kanazawa.

    Exhibition commemorating the 10th anniversary of Itabashi Ward's transition to a landscape administration organization

    Itabashi Ward has been promoting initiatives based on the Itabashi Ward Landscape Plan in order to improve the urban landscape. We have been holding the "Itabashi Landscape Photo Exhibition" in order to encourage the residents of Itabashi Ward to become interested in landscape city planning and the cultivation and protection of attractive landscape resources. This year, in collaboration with the Life and Tourism Division, we will hold a panel exhibition on the landscape and tourism in the ward.

    Tatebe Ryoutai Exhibition: His Life, Drunk or Awake

    This is the first full-scale exhibition of Tatebe Ryoutai (1719-1774), active in the mid-Edo period, whose works include Ryobukuro, Sukuroan, Ayasoku, and Kanposai. We hope that through this exhibition you will enjoy the variety of Ryoutai's activities, especially his painting.
